Although the weather has been ugly, Larry Hamilton and his crew have been working through the rain every day to maintain the course. Bird Homestead Golf Course is looking amazing. Don't let the rain stop you from coming out.

Can the weather get any better for golf?! Clear sunny skies, no smoke in the air, and a light breeze to keep off the mosquitos.

Bird Homestead Golf Report: Ready for golfing

Greetings and happy golfing from Bird Homstead Golf Course, located at Mile 11.8 Funny River Road. We have been open now for about two weeks and men's night started Tuesday evening, with 20 golfers showing up and enjoying the great weather that has made us all remember why we love the great Alaska summers, even though it seems a little late this year. Five teams teed it up at 6:30 p.m. and they wound up with the usual chip-off on the infamous ninth hole for first place.
