Another year of Hook-a-Kid-on-Golf has come to an end. We had a great group of miniature duffers this summer. The kids showed a lot of improvement throughout the week. It really is incredible to see just how fast small people can learn new things.
The mighty-mites are back on the course this week for the Birch Ridge Golf Association's Junior Golf Camp. We have 43 well-behaved little duffers from 8 to 10:30 each morning for the remainder of the week...
"Dollar" Bill Engberg and his merry band of mowers continue to keep the golf course in great condition, and there's no better time for golfers to roll the rock on these greens than this upcoming weekend! We have a lull in the tournament calendar leaving next weekend wide open for public play. If you have had your fill of scrambles recently and just want to get out and play your own ball now is a great time to do it.

It is way too flipping hot out! How am I supposed to golf in sweltering Alaska heat? I miss the days when it was a brisk 34 degrees. That's golfing weather folks.
