Cam Kneeland broke a tie with a two-run single in the bottom of the eighth inning, lifting the Mat-Su Miners to 3-1 win over the Peninsula Oilers in Alaska Baseball League action Thursday at Hermon Brothers Field in Palmer.Mat-Su improves to 9-3 in the ABL, moving into sole possession of first place, while the Oilers fall to 7-3 in the league and 12-5 overall.It was the final contest of a four-game road trip in which Peninsula finished 2-2. The Oilers return home to host the Anchorage Bucs at 7 p.m. Friday at Coral Seymour Memorial Park and at the same time Saturday.
