Wild's Perry taken by Red Wings

Chase Perry, who played goaltender last season for the Wenatchee (Washington) Wild, was taken in the fifth round (136th overall) by the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday in the NHL Draft. Perry will play the next couple of seasons at Colorado College.
