Bike Rodeo a smooth ride with plenty of support

It was brisk and cloudy today for bike rodeo. Kaleidoscope School is incredibly fortunate to have so much community support making the Bike Rodeo memorable, and educational. The students learned about bike safety from Kenai Police Officer Alex Prins and assistant Dillon Story, had helmets checked or purchased from Nurse Jane Fellman with Safe Kids, and enjoyed riding bikes on the course. In addition, The Bike Loft's own John Tabor provided tune-ups for the students' bikes. Kaleidoscope's PTA provided lunch snacks.

Great support, great bike rodeo

We were grateful not to see snow today for bike rodeo. Kaleidoscope School is incredibly fortunate to have so much community support making the Bike Rodeo memorable, as well as educational. The students learned about bike safety from Kenai Police Officer Alex Prins, had helmets checked or purchased from Nurse Jane Fellman with Safe Kids, and enjoyed riding bikes on the course. In addition, The Bike Shop provided volunteers to tune up students' bikes, and the Moose Lodge cooked hotdogs from IGA for the entire student body. Kaleidoscope PTA provided lunch snacks.
