...appalling is that the city council seems to disregard this issue also. Some loss of trees is no doubt necessary when development occurs, but the city council should negotiate with developers to save trees whenever possible. Dick Marshall Kenai

Reader: Limiting local terms doesn't make sense

...we can simply vote them out. Let's be sure that members of the assembly and the school board can remain in office as long as a majority of the voters want them to do so. Why in the world would we want it any other way? Dick Marshall Kenai
