Kenai, Soldotna elect council members; Micciche to serve again as Mayor

Voters in the city of Kenai were asked to weigh-in on two city council seats in Tuesday's election. Incumbent Mike Boyle and newcomer Tim Navarre were up for election. Each received about half of the votes, with Boyle garnering 601 votes and Navarre earning 636, according to unofficial results posted Tuesday night. Once the election results are certified, both candidates will likely be seated on Kenai's City Council. After voting Tuesday, current city councilman Ryan Marquis said two candidates for two seats wasn't too much of a puzzle.
