...current planning board appears to be stacked with private interest in gravel operations not common sense. Some things never change in the good ole boy network of whats in it for me. Disgusted by it all. John M. Standefer North Cohoe Looper

...info on his or the board's expenditures for salaries and meetings each and every month. I suggest they all take a serious pay cut and join the rest of the HEA membership in cutting back on wasted energy. John M. Standefer North Cohoe
...for the people could prevail. I am reluctantly giving into the reality that nothing really ever changes in politics. Power, revenge and more power are the aphrodisiac of politicians and thus here we go again. John M. Standefer Kasilof
We the people are once again left out of the important issues that concern our medical care and who delivers that care. The Borough Mayor retread has taken his office and the hospital to a new low in politics with one thing in mind, ultimate power over health care services. I suggest we the people take back our borough with a no confidence vote for every politician involved in this "one world order" we see at the CPGH Inc. board. Now its the resident owners of the hospital to stand up and let them know how its going to turn out in the near future.
The Northern Dynasty group i.e. Pebble Mine plan are if nothing else persistent in the goal they have planned for Kamishak Bay. The problem with the mine location is the wet lands and rivers that for eons have nourished the fish, animals and humans living down stream. Northern Dynasty Partnership's new name doesn't change the facts that the rivers and streams all lead to the Bristol Bay region and eventually into the ocean. The mine should never, ever be allowed to go further than a pipe dream in their own company mindset, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
