Opens Friday, Jun 6, 2014 Synopsis: The owner of an independent comic book company and his two loyal employees attempt to expose a nefarious money laundering ring while promoting their latest release at a high profile comic book convention. Tony Leary is the proud owner of Junk Comics, a controversial company that's about to go bust due to critical backlash and poor sales. But Tony has high hopes that his latest superhero, The Sodomizer, will be the one who saves Junk Comics from bankruptcy. The Sodomizer is set to make its big debut at the upcoming British International Comic Show, a place where trends are made and legends are born. Just as Tony and his cohorts Rick and Keith are preparing to unleash The Sodomizer on comic book fans all across the U.K., however, the police recruit them to help bust a Geordie gang that's laundering money through a fake comic company. Perhaps by helping to help bust a notorious gang of criminals, Tony, Rick, and Keith can finally find out what it feels like to be true crime fighters, rather than just writing about them. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi Movie Details Buy Tickets Movie Review
