Wolf withdraws from House race

Kelly J. Wolf announced Monday that he is withdrawing from the primary election for State House District 29, which includes the Kenai-Soldotna area. Wolf said in a statement, "I feel that my running for state house and possible election to this state office position would cause conflict with at least two organizations which I'm involved with. Also realizing that my involvement with Youth Restoration Corps may be an ethical conflict for me as a state legislator, I'm unwilling to comprise my support for this organization and the good work it does with our youth in the community."
