Triathletes' food donations appreciated

Thank you all who gave food during the Tri-the-Kenai Triathlon food drive. You made a difference in a family's life when you donated. Thank you to the Triathlon organizers for choosing The Food Bank as this year's recipient of donations and hosting a food drive with the awesome prize of a $900 certificate from Beemum's Bike & Ski Loft. The Kenai Peninsula Food Bank received 641 pounds of food which means 427 meals for hungry Kenai Peninsula residents. This food distributed to our 70 plus partner agencies from Moose Pass to Homer feeds a lot of hungry mouths.
