I want to thank all of the volunteers that made it possible for Nikiski High School to host the Region 3 3A/4A Track and Field Meet on May 10 and 11. We were able to host over 400 athletes thanks to the community coming together to make it happen. There were literally hundreds of hour spent shoveling snow and snow blowing to turn this meet into a reality. Coach Riddall lent me his weight lifters to wield shovels for the better part of a week.
