The Era Aviation Safety Department presented their Kenai Airport Station with the ?2006 Most Improved Station? Safety Award on Friday March 16th. The award is given annually to the station with the best safety record, ?We look at the overall safety performance, employee injuries, equipment damage, and most importantly safety attitudes that embodies the safety culture, including identification of hazards in the workplace, and proactive in the involvement in finding solutions and corrective actions to make the workplace safer for our customers and employees,? said Michelle Fabry, director of safety for Era Aviation.
