Staff reportThe Kenai girls and boys soccer teams clinched state berths in dramatic fashion Friday at the Northern Lights Conference soccer tournament at Palmer High School.The Soldotna girls opted for dominant fashion.The Kenai girls earned a third trip to state in four years with a 2-1, overtime victory over Wasilla, while the Kardinals boys are going to state for the first time since 2008 thanks to a 2-1, overtime victory over Homer.
